Asankon will host and participate in the Outernatia Song Contest 44 in Zhovaka, Asankon with the song "Rooftop" by Nico Santos.

Before the Contest

It was expected that GASCA would stay the selection method of Asankon for the 44th edition. However, due to the unexpected victory to Mimoza, Asankon will host this edition so ARTVC returned to internal selection. Despite usually announcing their contestant late from internal selections, Asankon revealed their artist and song early as it was revealed Spanish-German singer Nico Santos will represent the nation on home soil with his song 'Rooftop'.
